SIG Roofing – Award-Winning Charity Partner!
The Lewes to Paris cycling team proudly won the Band of Builders’s Team Fundraiser Award for 2025.
Organised by SIG Roofing, our brilliant team of cyclists took on an incredible two-day, 280-mile ride from Lewes to Paris, all to raise money for two truly amazing causes.
Together, they raised an outstanding £22,000, which was shared equally between Band of Builders, and PASIC, which supports families facing a child’s cancer diagnosis.
It was a challenge that tested every rider both mentally and physically, which makes the achievement even more special. Winning the award in just their second year cycling together is something the whole team should be incredibly proud of, and they’re only just getting started.
Plans for 2026 are already in motion, with the team heading as far as Germany and welcoming new industry colleagues along the way, including Gavin Crane from Band of Builders.

SIG Roofing Fundraising Impact
With over 100 branches across the UK, SIG Roofing regularly hosts local fundraising events, raising both vital funds and awareness for the incredible work of Band of Builders.
Alongside branch activity, SIG Roofing teams have delivered a wide range of national initiatives, including supporting the annual BIG Brew, raising over £3,000 to encourage conversations around mental wellbeing within the construction industry.
The team also launched the Beat the Blue campaign in support of Blue Monday. Over a two-week period, customers were invited into their local branches for the chance to win vouchers to help with everyday costs such as their weekly shop, offering practical support during what can be a challenging time of year.
Additional fundraising efforts have included hosting multiple golf days, raising £4,000 through quiz nights at team roadshows, and donating to Band of Builders for every health and safety intervention logged, generating a further £2,000 while reinforcing the importance of safe working practices.
In partnership with CT1, product hampers were raffled across every SIG Roofing location, raising over £2,250. And of course, the Lewes to Paris bike ride saw the team raise an incredible £22,000+, demonstrating the scale of commitment and passion across the business.
Together, these initiatives show how SIG Roofing continues to turn community spirit into meaningful impact.
