Leave A Legacy

Everyone wants to be remembered for something that matters. At Band of Builders (BoB), we believe the most powerful way to leave a legacy is through action, helping others, giving back and making a real, lasting difference in people’s lives.

Whether you’re a construction worker, family member, supporter or simply someone who believes in community, you have the chance to leave a legacy that goes far beyond bricks and mortar. By supporting us, you’re helping to change lives, not just today, but for years to come.

What It Means To Leave A Legacy

Leaving a legacy isn’t just about what you give, it’s about what you build. It’s the projects you take part in, the events you fundraise for, the time you volunteer and the lives you help change. Every act of kindness and generosity, big or small, becomes part of something bigger than yourself.

Our work stretches from fitting a single ramp to full home renovations. We’ve seen firsthand how these projects transform daily life for construction workers facing illness, injury or hardship and for the families standing beside them. When you support this mission, you leave a legacy of hope, compassion and practical help.

How You Can Leave A Legacy Today

You don’t have to wait until later in life to leave a legacy. Every supporter of BoB contributes to our mission of helping those in the construction industry and their families. Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer – on a project and see the impact firsthand.
  • Fundraise – through an event, challenge or your own idea.
  • Spread the word – share our mission with your friends, workplace or online community.
  • Make a donation – every pound helps fund critical work across the UK.

Some supporters also choose to leave a legacy by including BoB in their will. Whilst that’s a powerful gesture, your legacy can start now — through the choices you make and the actions you take today.

Keeping Their Memory Alive

Band of Builders have partnered with MuchLoved — the leading memorial tribute website service. An online tribute page is a wonderful way for you to leave a legacy and celebrate the life of someone special who is no longer with you. By keeping their memory alive, whilst also supporting a good cause.

It’s quick and easy to create a tribute page, just tell us a few details, personalise the page with photos, stories and videos. You can add their favourite song and even light virtual candles.

Your online tribute page can be shared with your family and friends so that they can leave messages, light a candle or leave a virtual gift in their memory. An online tribute page also creates a space where you can celebrate birthdays and anniversaries.

Creating a tribute page to honour a loved one and reading the messages from friends and family can also bring some comfort

It’s Not Just About Construction Workers

When you leave a legacy with Band of Builders, you’re supporting more than just individuals in the construction industry. Families, partners and dependents are often the ones most deeply affected by life-changing circumstances and they are just as central to the support we provide.

From adapting a child’s bedroom to supporting a grieving family, our work honours the fact that hardship doesn’t just affect one person. It impacts everyone around them and that’s why your legacy matters so much.
