    To replace a flat roof over the kitchen at the family home of self-employed builder Martin Johnson to ensure it is warm, dry and damp-free.

    The Cowley family moved into a bungalow in 2024, as their old house was no longer suitable for 11-year-old James, who has multiple complex needs – including quadriplegic cerebral palsy, malrotation, short bowel syndrome, speech and feeding difficulties, and sight impairment.

    Jonathan Coleman worked as a tradesman for over 30 years until he suffered a stroke at the age of 48. Through his tireless recovery efforts, he can now walk with some aids but still cannot use his left arm or hand.
