Collaborative Charity Campaigns
Band of Builders (BoB) was founded on the belief that when people come together with a shared purpose, incredible things happen. Our Charity Campaigns are built on this same principle — uniting individuals, businesses and communities across the UK to raise awareness, offer support and change the lives of construction workers and their families facing life-changing or limiting circumstances.
From mental health support to tackling tool theft and inspiring future generations, our collaborative Charity Campaigns are about far more than just raising funds — they’re about starting conversations, building networks and reaching those who may need us most.
Become A Charity Ambassador
At the heart of our Charity Campaigns is a dedicated network of volunteers known as Charity Ambassadors. These passionate individuals represent BoB within their own communities, workplaces, colleges and events — helping us reach more people and raise vital awareness.
You don’t need to commit huge amounts of time to get involved. We simply ask for a minimum of four days a year — whether that’s hosting a Big Brew, attending trade shows, talking to local businesses or supporting events. Every conversation, every event, every leaflet handed out helps us grow.
Becoming an Ambassador is not only an opportunity to support our Charity Campaigns, but also a chance to be part of something meaningful and make a lasting difference in your own community.
The Roles You Can Play
We offer a variety of Ambassador roles so you can get involved in the way that suits you best. Whether you’re passionate about mental health, enthusiastic about outreach or eager to engage with students, there’s a role for you in our Charity Campaigns.
Outreach Ambassadors
Engage with businesses, local authorities and organisations to spread the word about BoB and connect those in need to our support network.
Fundraising Ambassadors
Help raise essential funds through local fundraising efforts like fun runs, bake sales and awareness events, all whilst representing our mission.
Event Ambassadors
Get hands-on by helping organise and run events, from tool shows to networking days — all in aid of our core mission.
Tool Theft Ambassadors
Tackle one of the industry’s biggest issues by promoting tool security, sharing advice and resources, and offering guidance for those affected.
College Ambassadors
Inspire the next generation by working with colleges to raise awareness around mental health, safety and community support in the industry.
Core Ambassadors
Want to do it all? As a Core Ambassador, you’ll get involved in a variety of Charity Campaigns and outreach opportunities.
Why Charity Campaigns Matter
Every campaign, conversation and community connection helps us reach more construction workers and families in need. By volunteering your time, you’re helping deliver real-world impact. Whether that’s improving someone’s mental health, helping a family navigate a crisis or inspiring a young person to join our growing movement.
When you support our Charity Campaigns, you’re not just raising awareness — you’re building a better future for the UK construction community.
