There’s something incredibly special about a charity ball that brings people together for more than just a great night out. On Friday 2nd October 2026, the annual Band of Builders Ball will return for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection and purpose.

This year, we’re stepping into the wonderful world of Wonka…

Taking place at the iconic Villa Park, home of Aston Villa Football Club, our annual charity ball is one of the biggest dates in the Band of Builders calendar. It brings together construction leaders, volunteers, partners, supporters and friends from across the UK to celebrate everything our industry can achieve when it backs its own.

More Than Just A Charity Ball

For Band of Builders, the evening is about much more than dressing up, enjoying great food and having a few drinks with friends and colleagues. It’s an opportunity to come together as a construction community and help to ensure that when one of our own faces life-changing circumstances, support is there.

We hear all too often stories of construction workers suddenly being unable to work following a serious illness or injury. Perhaps their home needs adapting so they can live more independently, or an unexpected financial crisis means the family is struggling to cover essential costs. Maybe they simply need someone to talk to during an incredibly difficult period.

These are the real-life people Band of Builders supports through practical projects, financial assistance and wellbeing services. Every ticket, donation and fundraising opportunity at our charity ball helps us to continue that important work.

A Night Inspired By Wonka

This year’s theme is ‘Wonka’, bringing a little imagination, colour and fun to an evening that has a very real purpose.

Guests can look forward to a sparkling drinks reception, a sumptuous three-course meal, themed entertainment and a celebrity host, alongside a fully licensed bar, live auctions and raffles featuring exclusive prizes.

There will also be prestigious awards celebrating the people and organisations making an outstanding contribution to the construction industry and to Band of Builders.

Whether you’re attending with colleagues, clients, friends or as a supporter of BoB, it’s a chance to enjoy an evening surrounded by people who understand just how important it is to look after our own.
