We want to say a huge thank you to the Pearson Family from Hoddesdon for choosing Band of Builders as the beneficiary of their annual garden party.
Sip for Sam was started in honour of Keri Pearson’s nephew Sam as he underwent a battle against leukaemia. In the past, Sip for Sam has raised funds for the Pearsons’ local hospital’s Magic of Play appeal, Dreamflights and Teensunite – three charities who helped Sam through his three-and-a-half years of treatment.
Thankfully, Sam is really well now and studying for his A-levels but the garden party has continued and this year – its sixth year – the family chose BoB as the beneficiary of over £1,000 raised by the great event.
Keri told us: “You completed a brilliant renovation of Sadie’s home in Hoddesdon. My sister lives opposite the family so we were inspired to do something for your charity. I hope this donation helps you to continue with the amazing, selfless work you do.”
We want to say a huge thank you to the Pearson family. What a wonderful gesture – the money donated will go towards future projects so we can help even more people.
